Patriot Act

An interesting turn of events...

"His contention is that as an active member of the U.S. military, he is required to follow orders from a sitting president, and he needs – on pain of court-martial – to know that Obama is eligible. "

Well, now...isn't that an act of patriotism?

""Until Mr. Obama releases a 'vault copy' of his original birth certificate for public review, I will consider him neither my Commander in Chief nor my President, but rather, a usurper to the Office – an impostor," his statement said. "

I like that - Usurper. I think that may be a good moniker for the One.

As patriots and supporters of the Constitution, whether inside or outside the military... We are all the new enemy.

Michael New was right when he refused to serve the UN, but that got him court martialed vs. saving him from one. Service to the One will be no different.

@ PatriotsWrath: While I agree with your assessment regarding what will ultimately happen to these two officers, consider the fact that, as far as I know, no one serving in uniform has ever questioned the legal status of the President's authority before. Even during the Vietnam era when the hippies were all dodging the draft they at least knew that the President was a U.S. citizen and that they would be legally bound to follow orders.

This is big. It may rapidly get bigger, and then things will get really interesting (in the Chinese sense, of course).

It is, perhaps, the only thing that could slow this monster. It has the added bonus of wrecking their math for using the military on home soil.

Let us hope this is just a rivulet from a distant torrent.
