Why Do I Even Try?

Now, look - between Brigid and Joan, there is simply no chance of my words meaning a damned thing lately. This time, it's Joan...luscious, luscious...

"gentle lull of moonlight beams in
as she arcs the sky full sail"

Do go read the whole thing!

We try because even the voices of the chorus add to the texture of the symphony.

Och, that is quite the kindness coming from someone of your caliber. I'd curtsey...do people still do that? LOL

Joan, your poem brought back so many happy memories of learning to sail when I was a kid growing up in Florida. Every time I set foot on that old 15ft. homemade sailboat I imagined myself a pirate on a mission to find treasure. Beautiful! LauraB, thank you kindly for bringing that to our attention!
